Of course we have WiFi calling in Trøndermobil! With WiFi calling, you can make calls and send SMS as usual, even where you have poor or no mobile coverage.
What is WiFi calling?
As long as you are connected to a WiFi network – whether you are far up in the mountains, deep down in the basement or in a café – your phone uses the wireless network to make calls instead of the mobile network. Your phone switches between them completely automatically.
Does WiFi calling cost anything extra?
No, not at all! WiFi calling is completely free and included in all Trøndermobil subscriptions. Calls and SMS you make over WiFi cost exactly the same as usual, and are deducted from your included EU/EEA quota.
How do I turn on WiFi calling?
Most newer phones support this, but you usually need to turn the feature on in your phone's settings once.

Tip: Once the feature is activated, you will often see a separate WiFi icon at the top of the screen (next to the operator name) when you call over a wireless network.
